The test is divided into functional test of the gate cover fixing device, functional test of the mechanical cover of the gate cover, hooking, suspension, decoupling test of the gate cover, temporary bridge retraction test, gate cover centering test and leakage rate test. Under the witness of National Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd., Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute and National Nuclear Demonstration Power Station Co., Ltd., the test was successfully completed, and all test indicators of the whole test process met the design requirements.
The equipment gate is the access passage of large equipment in the reactor building during the construction and shutdown of the nuclear power plant. It is closed during the operation of the nuclear power plant and forms a third layer of shielding together with the reactor containment. The total weight of the CAP1400 equipment gate is 78 tons, the maximum weight of a single piece is 54 tons, the outer diameter is 8500 mm, and the maximum wall thickness is 130 mm, which is manufactured by the national nuclear equipment.
The success of the test verified the rationality of the product design, provided guarantee for the subsequent continuous construction of the CAP14001 unit, and fully proved the product manufacturing capability of the national nuclear equipment, laying a foundation for further expansion of the nuclear power market.
